38th Combat Aviation Brigade

The 38th Combat Aviation Brigade (38th CAB), nicknamed Falcons, is an Indiana Army National Guard aviation unit organized and federally recognized on 1959-02-01 in Indianapolis and now home-stationed in Shelbyville. It operates UH-60 Black Hawk and LUH-72 Lakota helicopters for general support, air movement, air assault and MEDEVAC, and mobilizes for state civil support, emergency response, and wartime aviation operations in support of higher headquarters.
