APAO

APAO (Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology) is a professional academy and congress organizer in ophthalmology founded in 1960. It runs congresses and other conferences to promote prevention of blindness, research, teaching and education in eye care across the Asia-Pacific region, and serves ophthalmologists and ophthalmological societies. It organizes named awards, lectures, travel grants and commemorative activities related to ophthalmology and regional professional exchange.
