Capitale de la Choucroute

Capitale de la Choucroute (Fête de la choucroute) is an annual village festival in Krautergersheim focused on sauerkraut and local gastronomy, traditions and festive activities. It takes place each last weekend of September and the first Saturday of October, with evenings under a professionally installed parqueted chapiteau and animated village locations on Sunday. The event is organised by the local association A.L.A.K. and relies heavily on volunteers from village associations for installation, catering and logistics.
