Food Studies Research Network

The Food Studies Research Network is a member-based, scholar-led international research network that organizes the International Conference on Food Studies. The 16th conference (Living with Water: Food and Life) is scheduled for 2026 at CELAS, University of Osaka, and includes plenary sessions, thematic program tracks on production, nutrition, and food politics/cultures, and both place-based and online participation options. The network brings together researchers, practitioners, producers, and policymakers to examine agricultural, environmental, nutritional, social, and cultural dimensions of food systems.
