International Seating Symposium

The International Seating Symposium (ISS) is the world’s largest academic conference focused on wheelchair seating, mobility, and assistive technology for people with disabilities. It brings together clinicians, researchers, manufacturers, suppliers, and consumers for educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and an exhibit hall showcasing seating and mobility technology. The 40th ISS will be held March 31–April 2, 2027 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, with pre-conference sessions March 30 and a dedicated Hands-On Zone within the exhibit hall.
