Sabor Barranquilla is a gastronomic event created in 2008 by the Colombian Red Cross (Atlántico branch) and Fenalco Atlántico to promote Caribbean Colombian and Greater Caribbean culinary culture. It is a meeting space for value-chain participants such as restaurants, producers, entrepreneurs, traditional cooks, national and international chefs, and academics. The event includes an academic forum addressing topics like environmental awareness in gastronomy and features national and local chefs using regional products.
