11th edition of the SPC Smart Polymers Congress! The 11th edition of the Smart Polymers Congress will take place on November 17–18, 2026, in Milan. November 17 will be devoted to a day of conferences at the Lombardy Regional Government Building (Piazza Città di Lombardia, Milan), followed by a half-day of industrial visits on November 18. This edition will focus on smart polymers and integrated functional systems, highlighting the role of advanced polymer materials and composites in the development of intelligent, sustainable and integrated solutions. Contributions are expected on: smart and functionalized polymers, printed and hybrid electronics, integration of sensors and active functions through printing or advanced processing technologies, sustainability, eco-design and circularity of these systems. Particular attention will be given to solutions based on biopolymers, recyclable polymers, functional composites, nanocomposites and hybrid polymers, as well as polymers for advanced and intelligent manufacturing, including additive manufacturing and 3D/4D printing. The congress aims to foster synergies between materials, processes and smart systems, and to strengthen European collaborations. This edition is organized by POLYMERIS, in partnership with AFIL (the Italian cluster dedicated to Industry of the Future, manufacturing innovation and Industry 4.0 in the Lombardy region).
