Best Trade Shows in Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a modest exhibition market, but its trade-fair tradition is long: the International Fair Plovdiv, founded in 1892 and a UFI member since 1936, is the country's oldest and largest fair and ranks among the leaders of the exhibition industry in Southeast Europe. The EU-integrated economy exports refined copper, petroleum products, wheat, pharmaceuticals, electrical machinery and vehicle parts, with food processing a major manufacturing segment and a fast-growing IT sector. Plovdiv and the capital Sofia are the principal fair cities; Plovdiv hosts the agricultural fair AGRA and the food exhibition FOODTECH, while the Inter Expo Center is Sofia's largest exhibition venue.
