Arolser Kram- und Viehmarkt

Arolser Kram- und Viehmarkt is a traditional annual folk fair held on the Königsberg in Bad Arolsen each early August, described as North Hesse's largest Volksfest. The four-day event on 10 hectares features traditional market stalls, amusement rides, a cattle drive, a parade, a lottery and a fireworks finale. Around 50 amusement operators, 50 food/beverage businesses and 60 trade businesses and market stalls participate, offering goods from classic fair items to modern decorations.
