CLIMATE-Arch – Symposia is a series of academic symposia on vernacular architecture, climate, ecology, technology and anthropology held in Vienna. Each symposium gathers researchers and practitioners (architects, anthropologists, sociologists, historians, natural and technical scientists) to present papers and discuss topics such as thermal comfort, sustainability, craft knowledge, vulnerability, resilience, and adaptation of vernacular buildings. Events include in-person and online participation options and run over multiple days with associated publication projects.
