Wartburg
The Historischer Weihnachtsmarkt auf der Wartburg is a traditional historical Christmas market held on the courtyards and rooms of the Wartburg (a UNESCO World Heritage site). It features historical traders and traditional craft demonstrations such as candle makers, glassblowers, costume makers, lantern builders, soap makers, stonemasons, herbalists and pewter casters, with musicians providing entertainment. Visitors can also access the festival halls, museum and Lutherstube and join guided tours of the medieval palas and visit the Südturm overlook.
