Der Traditionsweihnachtsmarkt

Der Traditionsweihnachtsmarkt (Blotschenmarkt) is a public Christmas market held in Mettmann around the historic St. Lambertus church on the town's market square. It runs across multiple weeks and weekends in late November to mid-December and features food and drink stalls (Glühwein, pancakes, raclette, regional and international specialties), arts-and-crafts and gift stands, a Santa hut for children, and school/kindergarten-decorated Christmas trees. The event is organized by Mettmann-Impulse e. V. with Florian Peters as responsible organizer.
